Cooperation with Ukraine

The Sen Foundation stood at the cradle of the recent establishment of the foundation “OpenDoor Ukraine.nl” Its aim is to make available humanitarian support to the Ukraine population which suffers heavily from the open and covert hybrid warfare against their country. There are already 1.5 million internal refugees who fled mostly to the Western part. Of those, 600.000 are children. About 15.000 people have died as a result of this insidious war.

Many refugees need better housing, medical and trauma care, jobs and and education. The foundation will attempt to find financial supporters among private and corporate donors.
Chair of the new foundation is Mr. Robert Serry, former ambassador to Ukraine, and former Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General to the peace talks in Jerusalem. Ambassador Serry recently designed a peace plan for the Donbas region: Blue Helmets for Donbas, which can be read on the internet site of the UN Peace University’s office UPeace in The Hague:
